Participate in Starlight
Civilization does not move forward by itself. It moves when people choose work worth sustaining. Four paths are open or in development: address, measure, found, and spread.
Address a Dark Star
Choose an unlit coordinate and invest part of your life in it. A Dark Star’s potential tier describes the scale of contribution that a decisive breakthrough could unlock; it is not a contributor score. A lighting event may later record evidence-backed relationships, while people and their contributions are assessed independently.

Nominate people who truly moved civilization forward but were not properly seen. Nominations can be checked against evidence; a score, when one is made, is calculated under the formula. Certification additionally requires independent second review and red-team/blue-team review.

The Starlight Prize and Starlight Fund remain concepts. The project currently accepts conversations about collaboration or founding, but not donations, applications, or transfers of funds. Naming, reviewer independence, funder participation, recusal, ceremonies, and attribution remain undecided.

Tell the story of a contribution: what changed, how far it moved civilization, and why the current research score was assigned. Help overlooked contributors become visible without treating a research record as a final judgment.

Start with a concrete proposal
If you are unsure where to begin or already have a concrete proposal, the public intake point can route your request. It does not make the contact person the project lead, reviewer, or funding guarantor.
