Tier and Star-Type System
Records how the former ranking mapped Score to T0–T9; the current person research ranking does not use this mapping.
Adapted from the earlier star-tier documents. Today’s person-level assessment displays points only and no longer converts them to T tiers.
Ten star types
| Tier | Star type | Title |
|---|---|---|
| T0 | Stardust | Basic unit |
| T1 | Meteor | Effective contributor |
| T2 | Satellite | Core contributor |
| T3 | Comet | Important breakthrough-maker |
| T4 | Bright Star | Field founder |
| T5 | Nova | Paradigm breaker |
| T6 | Planet | System builder |
| T7 | Star | Foundational pioneer |
| T8 | Giant Star | Civilizational reconstructor |
| T9 | Supernova | Epoch-defining figure |
“Bright Star” here means only the T4 star type; it is not a collective name for everyone in the ranking. T0–T8 were integer display-score bands mapped by min(8, floor(Score)); T9 had a separate admission criterion, R ≥ 1.586. T0 means only that visible civilizational increment is near zero; it does not judge a person's dignity or the value of their life. In practice T9 may remain empty, but it was not designed to be permanently unreachable.
