CALCULATION

How the score is calculated

Q = 10^(M/2) − 1; Lᵢ = aᵢ × Qᵢ; L = Σ Lᵢ; S = 2 × log₁₀(1 + L).

M is an outcome’s assessed magnitude and a is the person’s allocated share. A standalone score is only a per-item reference; the attributed light from distinct contributions is what can be combined.

summaryOrganizing religious concepts into singable poetry and situational dialogues, forming sustained discussion material centered on unity, language, and self-transformation.

Original Chinese · summary

把宗教观念组织为可吟唱的诗歌与情境性对话,形成围绕一体性、语言与自我转变的持续讨论材料。

M rationaleM5.8 evaluates the corpus family combining thought and poetic expression, along with early transmissibility, without scoring the number of believers, authenticity of revelation, or an entire religious civilization. Compared to a single record, it has multiple interconnected primary texts; its interpretive controversies and cross-generational compilation limit individual monopoly.

Original Chinese · M rationale

M5.8评价思想与诗歌表达相结合的语料族及早期可传承性,未将信仰人数、启示真实性或整个宗教文明折成分数。与单篇记录相比,它有多个相互联系的主要文本;其诠释争议和跨代整理限制了个人独占。

attribution rationaleEach share is a revisable research judgment; public sources support the role and scope, not directly proving the proportion.

overlap boundaryPoetry and dialogue expressions from Guru Nanak's lifetime, and the preservation and compilation of the corpus attributed to him up to the formation of the Adi Granth in 1604, including the thought and literary expression represented by works like 'Japji' and 'Siddh Gost'. Poetry, concepts, and corresponding methods of expression are grouped as a family; it does not claim the entire scripture, later theological commentaries, religious truth, or the scale of believers.

Evidence gapsNot having conducted a verse-by-verse comparison of the earliest manuscripts with the current scripture, works attributed to an individual do not all have contemporary authorial proof; the specific division of labor for original musical collaborators has not been verified; legendary travels cannot substitute for textual evidence.

Original Chinese · evidence gaps

未逐首对读最早手稿与通行经本,个人名下作品不等于全都有同期作者证明。;原始音乐协作者的具体作品分工尚未核定;传说行旅不能代替文本证据。

summaryImplementing teachings into an early community with daily labor, assemblies, and communal living arrangements, and establishing a sustainable leadership succession.

M rationaleM5.3 is provisionally estimated based on the actual organization and communal life of early local communities, rather than by the founding title. What is separate from the textual lineage is specific collaborative living; sources do not provide early scale or service volume, so the numerical value retains a wider sensitivity range.

overlap boundaryThe work, assemblies, communal life, and meal-sharing community formed by Nanak in Kartarpur before his death in 1539, and the succession arrangements he arranged during his lifetime.
