Zhang Zeduan was a Northern Song painter. Along the River During the Qingming Festival arranges the suburbs of Bianjing, waterways, the Rainbow Bridge, and marketplace scenes in a handscroll.

张择端是北宋画家，《清明上河图》以长卷组织汴京近郊、河道、虹桥与市井景象。
The scroll unfolds from countryside and waterways to bridges and streets, connecting human activity, freight traffic, and architectural details into a continuous cityscape. The handscroll now held by the Palace Museum in Beijing is the central work for studying his painting.
